Shauna Sand is Playboy Miss May 1996

Shauna Sand info and short bio: She was born on September 2nd, 1971 in San Diego, California. Shauna Sand started modeling career in New York at the age of 15.

At only five years of age Shauna Sand was studying ballet, jazz and theater. She would start modeling at age nine, enroll in the School of Creative and Performing Arts at age 11, and would earn a dance scholarship with Ballet West at thirteen! Two years later Shauna would sign with the Elite/Petite agency out of NY and would see her career take off!

Her journey to would see bumps in the road as her mother said she’d disown her if she posed nude. Shauna waited a bit until she completed her B.A. in International Business Administration at the American University of Paris. Being on her own, Shauna submitted photos to Playboy's Los Angeles photo editors, which led to a test shoot. That of course, led to her being Miss May 1996.

Appearing on the popular syndicated show Renegade, the whole world was now introduced to Shauna Sand. That led to her traveling around the world, as she saw her herself in demand for international magazines, calendars and more! Shauna has since been one of the most visible Playmates around as she has appeared on many popular shows, and continues to be featured in major publications.

Shauna Sand is married with three daughters. Her hobbies include motorcycle riding (she got own bike) and her favorite modeling scene is the beach.
